I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this because it's a great idea. Postal regulators are suggesting the US Postal Service should issue a "forever" stamp.

The stamp would be purchased for whatever the current stamp price. When stamp prices go up, you don't need to purchase extra stamps to make up the price difference. I rarely send mail any more since I use billpay for everything. Last time there was a price hiike, I was left will all these underpiced stamps.
